JCEO recognizes the 11 Federal Holidays, and all locations close for or in observance of those dates. Additionally, offices are closed on the day after Thanksgiving and the day before Christmas. Occasionally, some locations will close due to inclement weather - please check our Facebook page for up-to-date information on weather or emergency related closures.

JCEO hosts or participates in several fundraising events throughout the year. Many events repeat on a reoccurring basis.
Some of the larger events include:
the Plattsburgh Cards & Collectible event, which takes place on the third Saturday of every May and October
the Charity Golf Tournament, which takes place on the third Friday in August
the Agriculture & Artistry Fair, which takes place in September
the CPKC Holiday Train, which takes place late November/early December every year

JCEO has a Board of Directors that meet monthly to discuss agency needs and goals. Full board meetings take place at 9am on the third Tuesday of each month (except for April, August, and December) at JCEO’s administrative office in Plattsburgh.

A handful of times each year, JCEO offices close for a day so all staff members can participate in Agency All Staff meetings, where staff participate in teambuilding exercises, share lunch, and receive important training and organizational updates.
Christmas Bureau Applications Open

The deadline for Christmas Bureau is Friday, December 12th.
CPKC Holiday Train!
The CPKC Railway Holiday Train is making its return on November 26th!!
Santa will be with JCEO collecting donations for our food pantry, bring shelf-stable food items and help us make a difference!

Cardinal Men's Hockey Food Drive, Night I

Night one: Friday, January 2nd, Plattsburgh vs. Wesleyan
Night two: Saturday, January 3rd, dependent on Friday’s match it will be a Consolation game at 3:30pm or a Championship game at 7:00pm.

Feed Your Neighbor Food Drive
Stop by Hannaford in Plattsburgh from 9am-3pm and donate during 99.9 The Buzz and 106.7 WIZN’s annual Feed Your Neighbor Food Drive! We will be on site playing tunes and collecting food and cash donations.

Riley Ford is participating in the Ford Global Food Drive, collecting non-perishable items to support JCEO food pantries! Everyone who donates will be entered to win a 2-year Ford Vehicle Maintenance Plan.
