Looking forward to the warm days of summer, we want to invite you to JCEO’s 16th Annual Golf Tournament! Mark your calendar for Friday, August 18th, when we will be returning to The Barracks Golf Course for an 8am start.
Even if you’re not golfing, we’ll have an amazing raffle open to all - last year we had some big hitters, including a handmade set of cornhole boards, a $300 value spa-day basket, and a set of Plattsburgh “International Dining” gift cards. There will also be a 50/50 raffle.
100% of the proceeds from this event will provide direct relief to local children in need, through our Community Action Angels’ Fostering Komfort and Backpack Programs.
The Backpack Program, which sponsors 134 food-insecure elementary school students, ensures that children have nutritious meals and snacks over the weekends throughout the school year.
The Fostering Komfort program works with DSS to provide unique, individual bags, toiletries, diapers, books, and other comfort items to children and babies entering foster care.
Don’t want to play or sponsor, and want to help out another way? We’re always looking for volunteers to help run the event, or donations for raffle baskets.
