  • Education Services Manager  – Franklin County Head Start
    • Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development (Master’s Degree preferred), one year of experience teaching preschool age children and supervisory experience. Submit application to Stephanie Carlisto.
  • Health & Disabilities Services Coordinator 

    • Responsibilities include planning, developing, and administering the Health, Disabilities and Mental Health Program service area, ensuring an integrated and comprehensive system of services for children and their families. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in School Psychology or Counseling Psychology, specializing in Early Childhood. Experience in Special Education helpful, or Social Work or related field. A specialization in Early Childhood Education is preferred, with 2 years related experience. Supervision experience helpful.
  • Teacher  – Clinton County Head Start
    • Minimum Qualifications: BS/BA ECE preferred, A.A. in ECE, or an A.A. equivalent (24 credits in Early Childhood/Child Development,), 1 yr preschool teaching exp., and 1 yr. supervision. Submit application to Angie Minehan.
  • Teacher  – Franklin County Head Start
    • Minimum Qualifications: BS/BA ECE preferred, A.A. in ECE, or an A.A. equivalent (24 credits in Early Childhood/Child Development,), 1 yr preschool teaching exp., and 1 yr. supervision. Submit application to Stephanie Carlisto.
  • Teacher Assistant  – Franklin County Head Start
    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED), and a Child Development Associate credential, or be enrolled in a CDA credential program that will be completed within 2 years, or have an Associates or Baccalaureate Degree (in any area) or be in a program leading to such a degree, and one year of experience working with preschool children. Submit application to Stephanie Carlisto.
  • Early Head Start Home Based Visitor  – Franklin County Head Start
    • Minimum Qualifications: Twelve hours of Early Childhood Education credits or Child Development Associate/Family Development Training and six months experience working with young children. Submit application to Stephanie Carlisto.
  • Family Worker  – Tupper Lake Head Start
    • Minimum Qualifications: Credential or certification in social work, human services, family services, counseling, or a related field within eighteen months of hire, or equivalent coursework (12 credit hours in the above-mentioned fields) as part of an associate’s of bachelor’s degree. Experience in the field preferred. Submit application to Amanda McGibbon.
  • Center Support Teacher – Franklin County Head Start
    • A baccalaureate or advanced degree in Early Childhood Education or in any field and course work equivalent to a major relating to Early Childhood Education with experience teaching preschool age children, or an Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education, with one year experience teaching preschool aged children and, one year of supervision (required by all of the above) or an AA degree with 24 credits in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or a child-related area; and one year of child daycare teaching experience; and one year of experience supervising staff.
  • Center Support Teacher – Clinton County Head Start
    • A baccalaureate or advanced degree in Early Childhood Education or in any field and course work equivalent to a major relating to Early Childhood Education with experience teaching preschool age children, or an Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education, with one year experience teaching preschool aged children and, one year of supervision (required by all of the above) or an AA degree with 24 credits in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or a child-related area; and one year of child daycare teaching experience; and one year of experience supervising staff.
  • Cooks – Clinton County Head Start
    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and, six months of related experience and/or training; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience working in a pre-school setting is preferred. Submit application to Debbie Ciccone.
  • Substitutes – Head Start
    • Monday through Friday, as needed, for Head Start Centers in Clinton and Franklin County. Minimum Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age, possess a High School Diploma or GED and six months related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Please submit application to Angie Minehan.
  • TEMP Health Services Specialist – Franklin County Head Start
    • Minimum Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited licensed practical nursing program with experience and training in health education. Experience in community nutrition services helpful. Please submit application to Stephanie Carlisto.
