Purpose

  • Create initiatives to better the work place.
  • Recommend actions that improve overall quality of work life.

How to Volunteer

Signing up for QWL is a great way to influence your work environment. Volunteers serve for a two year term. In order to diversify the committee, a volunteer from each program is selected if possible. Employees from both Clinton and Franklin Counties participate.

If you are interested in volunteering, follow these steps.

  • 1) Submit a letter of interest to your Program Director.
  • 2) Letters must be submitted no later then March 1st of each year.
  • 3) If there is more than one volunteer per program, the Program Director determines who will serve.

Program Directors will notify new committee members of their appointments. Meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month, and the meeting locations alternate between Ellenburg and Plattsburgh.
