Upcoming EventsDame Motorsports Hosts Innovative Drive to Fill JCEO Food Shelves Starting December 11th, ten contestants will stand with their hand placed on a new 2008 Honda Rancher 4x4 ATV. The last one standing with their hand still in place will win this fantastic ATV donated by Dame Motorsports. How do you qualify to be one of the ten contestants? Five participants may qualify by random draw to be held at Dame Motorsports. Beginning on November 3rd at 9:05 am participants may submit an entry form at Dame Motorsports, Inc, Donate to the Food Shelf The second means of qualifying is to donate to the JCEO food shelf.Hopeful participants are asked to donate non-perishable food items or personal hygiene products. The five individuals who donate the most items (by count-packaged items count as one item) will be the remaining 5 participants. These food donations should be dropped off at Dame Motorsports anytime during regular business hours starting Thursday, December 1st at 9:30am and no later than 3 pm December 9th, 2008. The individual who donates the 6th largest quantity of food donation for the Food Shelf collection will serve as the second alternate should the original qualifiers not be able to participate. Food donations can not be accumulative and must be one time drops to be considered valid. Food donations must be counted and logged by a Dame Motorsports, WOKO or approved representative to qualify. Qualified Participants will be announced thru out the promotion and no later than December 10th. Game on! Several dedicated supporters are planning to deliver a massive truck load of food on Monday Dec. 1st in an attempt to guarantee their spot as one of the ten contestants. Call for Volunteers It?s the easiest way to do something great for the community ? Volunteers are needed to watch over contestants as they participate in the event. Please contact Diane Dame at 563-9700 or di2745@aol.com to help out. She will sign up volunteers in 1-3 hour blocks of time based on volunteer availability.
